Privacy policy

The short version

ScenixAI is designed so that almost nothing about you reaches us. Every tool processes everything on your own device — your photos, text and prompts never travel to our servers, because there is nothing to send them to. We have no accounts and no tracking pixels. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage (see below) — but your files and inputs still never leave your device.

What we do and do not collect

  • No accounts. There is no sign-up, so we hold no names, emails or passwords.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4. We use GA4 to see aggregate usage (which pages are visited, rough geography, device type). GA4 collects page views with IP anonymization; we send it no names, emails, file contents or anything you type into the tools. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking googletagmanager.com in your browser.
  • No advertising. We run no ad networks and no cross-site trackers.

What stays in your browser (localStorage)

Some features store small pieces of data on your device only, using your browser's localStorage. Nothing is sent anywhere:

  • scenixai-theme — your light/dark mode preference.
  • scenixai:recent — the tools you recently visited (for the "Recently viewed" section).
  • scenixai:hist:<tool> — optional per-tool history, only for tools that offer a history feature, and only if you use it.
  • AI model cache (background tools). The first time you use the AI background tools, your browser downloads the RMBG image-segmentation model (~40 MB) from Hugging Face's CDN and caches it in your browser's Cache Storage, so it works offline afterwards. The model is code, not your data — your photos are never sent anywhere.

You can clear all of it at any time from your browser's settings ("clear site data"), and the site keeps working normally without it.

Third-party requests (the honest exceptions)

We do not claim that our pages make zero third-party requests — that would not be true. Here is the complete list of what can leave your browser:

  • Google Fonts. The Inter typeface is loaded from Google's font CDN (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Like any font CDN, Google receives your IP address and user agent when the font loads.
  • Hugging Face model CDN (AI background tools). The background-removal tools download an image-segmentation AI model from a public Hugging Face CDN the first time you use them. This is a one-time download of model files; your photos never leave your browser — segmentation happens on your device.
  • jsDelivr CDN (AI background tools). The JavaScript library that runs the on-device AI model (@xenova/transformers) is loaded from the jsDelivr CDN. This is code only — no photo data, no personal data.
  • Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage (which pages are visited, rough geography, device types). See the Analytics section above for details and how to opt out.

We do not control these CDNs. If you block them, the affected tools will not work, but the rest of the site will.

Your rights

Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to export or delete on our side. Anything stored on your device is yours to clear. If you believe we hold something about you anyway, write to us and we will answer.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and note it here for at least 30 days.
