Your browser's built-in voices — the list depends on your device.
Recording captures the voice as your browser speaks it (you'll be asked to share this tab with audio). Works in Chrome/Edge; Firefox can't capture tab audio.

Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes — 100% free, no signup, no limits. Type, preview, and record as much as you want.
Whose voices are these? Is it AI voice cloning?
No cloning involved. The voices are your browser’s built-in text-to-speech voices — the ones your operating system and browser ship with. That is why the voice list differs from device to device, and why this tool can be free forever with nothing to sign up for.
How do I download the audio?
Hit "Record voiceover" and share this tab with audio when the browser asks — we capture the spoken voice while it plays and hand you a .webm audio file. This needs Chrome or Edge; Firefox cannot capture tab audio, so there you can still use Preview.
Does my text leave my device?
No. The speech uses your browser’s built-in voices — usually synthesized on-device, though Chrome may use network voices for some voices. The recording is captured locally. Nothing you type or record is uploaded to our servers.
What can I use the voiceover for?
Shorts, video narration, podcast intros, accessibility read-alouds, presentations — anything where a clean spoken track helps. The .webm file plays in all modern browsers and most editors.
