Frequently asked questions
Is the Photo Enhancer really AI?
No — and we say so openly. This tool applies classic photo-adjustment math (brightness, contrast, saturation, temperature and sharpening) to your photo's pixels. It makes dull photos look better in one click, but it cannot restore missing detail, unblur faces, or fix badly damaged images. If a tool claims "AI restoration" without an on-device model, be skeptical.
Will it overwrite my original photo?
No. Your original is never modified: the enhanced version is rendered to a separate image, and you download it as a new PNG file. Upload as many photos as you like and tweak them freely.
What does the before/after slider do?
Drag the comparison slider left or right to wipe between your original photo (left) and the enhanced version (right), so you can judge exactly what each preset or slider changed.
What quality do I get when I download?
Downloads are full-resolution PNGs at your photo's original size (capped at 1920px on the long edge for fast in-browser processing — large enough for social, web and prints up to A5). No watermarks, ever.
Do my photos leave my device?
No. Every adjustment runs locally in your browser on a canvas — your photos are never uploaded, stored or sent anywhere. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to delete afterwards.
